So my Oxford Heaterz grips just broke free while riding. Anyone know of a good grip glue that will bond rubber and plastic, survive high temps, and not break free after repeated hot/cold cycles?

I went to install the engine guard last night and noticed that it mounts to the same point as the frame sliders. Attempting to mount sliders on top of the guard doesn't seem like I'd get enough thread into the mount... Can this be safely done? Or, is there another location to mount the sliders?
