My T-Mobile contract is up in couple of months and I'm sick of the spotty service. My work phone is Verizon and I never seem to have problems with them. AT&T, Verizon, Sprint.... others PROs and CONs please.

FZ goes to paint wednesday. Got the tail tidy, turn signals and barend mirrors finally. It'll take a couple of weeks because my buddy has other obligations too. This is pretty much the paint scheme. RD 350 Concept.

Back in the day I had a Honda Nighthawk S. Great bike and I always loved this paint. Kinda thinking about something like this for the FZ8. Gimme your opinions.

Anybody swapped out the stock handlebar for something besides clip-on or a low drag bar ? I'm ok with the stock bar's ergos but since I'm painting the bike, I was thinking about a black "Daytona Handlebar" ($19 and about the same ergos).

Just a head's up. The TT is on the Velocity Channel (DIRECT TV) tonite. One hour program. If you've never watched..... 37 mile road (public road) course winner determined by average speed.

My K13 goes to paint next week and I still haven't settled on anything other than a yellow/black Kenny Roberts scheme or something similar to the K03 FZ1 Bumble Bee. Still looking for ideas.

Took it thru city traffic, bumpy road, short run on the interstate and just a few sharp turns. LOVE it. Comparing it to my 08 Bandit 1250.... the ride is way smoother, handles way better (FZ8 is 100lbs lighter), FZ doesn't have the torque the Bandit has but given the benefits gained I can...

How Yamaha determines who gets what model... My 2013 has been in a warehouse in Atlanta, GA. for a little more than a week now and not shipped to Memphis (more or less than 8 hours away). The K13 FJR has been in showrooms since jan.... My dealer (a good friend) has been calling to get it up here...

I had planned on selling my 08 Bandit 1250 and getting a leftover 2011 FZ8. A couple of dickheads made offers on my Bandit and I decided to wait until spring. So glad I waited now that the 2013 FZ8 will have a better suspension. Still gonna have to get it painted tho. The local dealer (a buddy)...

I'll be trading my 08 Bandit 1250 for an FZ8. I'm also looking at the BMW F800R. I've checked out both bikes (friend has a dealership that sells both) and lean a bit more toward the FZ8. The FZ will be about 4 grand less OTD, the BMW has a 3 year warranty but Yamaha offers a 3 year warranty...

Been lurking here for several months considering an FZ8.
