I thought the dampening was just for rebound? Unless by compression you mean preload?

I will have to look up on how to set the sag. I didn't know the dampening noticeable detents(clicks). I will have get started soon. Still winter here in W. Central Illinois. Thanks.

Just curious. For those who have installed a FZ1 rear shock. What pre load and damping setting did you start out with. I weigh about 185#.

I don't usually turn the nut as much as just hold it in place while tightening the mirror counter clockwise. I have extensions on mine so I know what you're running into.

Stock rear Fender I still have my stock fender and have no plans on taking it off. When I ride it rain it keeps the mud stripe off my back. I don't have any problem with it other than I may trim down the license plate bracket.

I am looking to replace my stock handlebars with something with a little less pullback. does anyone know where I can find the stock handlebar dimensions (width, sweep, ht, etc). I have tried using the search with no luck. Thanks.

Cost Just curious , What does a set of 2013 FZ8 front forks cost? are they the complete fork assembly?

Fazer 8 fairing Where would someone in the U.S. get the fairing and mounting hardware to install it on the FZ8? I know some hate the fairing but it does serve it's purpose. I just wish we had been given the choice here in the U.S.

It's easier to install the spring with the stand in the up position also.

Lower Fairing Where did you get the lower fairing for the FZ8? Looks like it would work well on the road.

Not yet. My son and I are planning a ride down to Deal's Gap this summer. Figure to put on a couple thousand miles on the trip. Should be a good time. The side bags will probably get the most use. Tank & Tail bags are for extra gear when taking longer trips.

Wind screen That wind screen works just the way I want it to. I have received nothing but compliments until now. Oh well. Figures the first complaint would be on the 8 forum. No problem. It's mine and I like it.
