My dealer said the same thing. I believe it's a test to see if you're willing to pay extra for other services they might offer. I didn't say anything when they told me to put the best gas in, I was laughing inside. I'm sticking with 87 grade gas. They also wanted $800 for Y.E.S.

First fillup was right after I left the dealer. 2nd fillup and got 27.62mpg. 81.7 miles on 2.958 gallons. 3/4ths of the riding was stop light traffic. 3rd fillup, 35.94mpg!

I'll be 2nd in line to buy it.

Is this normal on all new FZ8s? There are red dots on most of the screws, bolts, and radiator cap either in the center or on the side. Torque markings, final driver mark? I don't see it on any photos of FZ8s online. It's something that cleans off by the dealer or myself?
