How does rear suspension setup, effect how easy or not we can wheelie our bikes? Is a stiffer suspension setup better for wheelies or softer?

I email Dynojet, and a rep got back to me saying that "part #6-85 will give you full timing adjustabilty on an fz8". I looked into it, and that is an add on (to the PC5) ignition module, that runs another $300 usd. Has anyone shelled out the extra $ for the ignition mod? If so, is it worth...
