Really? Why spend that much money on a pair of headphones just too hack them up? I could understand if you were buying a cheap set, but Beats are way overpriced.

For less money, you can get a Bluetooth kit which eliminates the need for a wire, sounds great, and is more functional. The only downside is having to make sure that it's charged, but even that isn't a big deal. The charge lasts for quite a while.

Sent from my other favorite addiction (Galaxy S3) using Tapatalk.

actually I got the set for free
did not know what they cost
but yea, they are sweet and why put cheap speakers into a helmet?

the bluetooth is for connecting to mp3 players as well as phones for the Sena.
you can also connect to a gps unit. for $110 the sound quality of the Sena and functions can't be beat IMO.

Also love the Sena, I hated using ear buds with wires, its voice controlled for the most part, change on the fly by just by talking to it. Mine was a hell of a lot more than $110.

Can a moderator clear out all the replies that have no direct relation to the said thread topic? The purpose was to collect a play list of what we listen to to broaden our horizons when riding. We now know through reading that some think music is distracting, what bluetooth headset is the best or used and what to do with ear buds or beats audio headphones.

I was looking for music post only as described originally.

Start your own threads if you have ?'s outside of the topic.

Yip, if the MODs were to delete every post that went off topic they would be very busy.

Anyway, in 2 days no one will care or remember. Wait a minute did someone else say that already?

The other thing to remember is the internet/forum is anonymous, for all you know you might be communicating with a 13 yr old girl. Have you ever tried to tell a 13 yr old girl anything?

Anyone else with a playlist to get back on topic?

What's the difference between spending 100+ on a Bluetooth unit that wont give the depth of sounds beats do, vs spending 100+ on headphones for a specific purpose... That's just me cause I won't be talking on my phone so I don't need the Bluetooth feature
It's mostly just my opinion. I was attempting to emulate the arrogant tone of the above post.

The bluetooth also allows you to change volume, pause, play, skip tracks, etc. You can use what you want (even earbuds if you so choose) but in my opinion, the bluetooth is great.

I also wonder what the actual frequency response is for the beats audio. I've never tested them, but they seem like a marketing scam to me (similar to Bose). And more to the point, what happens to that audio after hacking them up and removing the sound isolating foam? They may work wonderfully, but for the price, I think the bluetooth is easier and more functional.

I get where you're coming from and yes the thread will get off topic from time to time. I've always found if you're the OP to help redirect it back by posting more info on topic.

As for the listening devices used, I will say that my earbud headphones make a huge difference in how happy I am with the music I chose. If I wear the regular iPhone ear buds that I don't enjoy the electronic music or the really soft stuff like Daughter much at all because I can't hear the nuances.

Also check out
Fitz & The Tantrums - Fools Gold
Flo Rida - Wild Ones
Flo Rida - Good Feeling
Imagine Dragons - On Top of The World

Also I've really liked
Macklemore - And We Danced
Macklemore - Can't Hold Us

Such a lover and not a fighter.

You need a Kawasaki Vulcan Vaquero with the xm radio and car speakers in the fairing to listen to those jams and spread the love. I came across a guy he even had a subwoofer. LOL

I'm a product of the 80's so most any hair band will do, but some favorites are GNR, Def Leppard, Great White, Kingdom Come, and Queensryche. Fond memories of playing them on my Sony Walkman with earbuds in under the helmet. I'm old.

I can also admit that I've been known to play the Top Gun soundtrack.

If you're looking for something . . . different . . . I have a Pandora station based on Parov Stelar - Catgroove. It's a sort of electro-swing sort of thing.

Or Yoshida brothers - Passion yields some interesting songs.
