Time and health are holding me back from doing just that. Thought someone here may have the measurements so I can order parts and have a buddy do the swap. I've been very ill since the week before (Last October) I bought my FZ. I want to just ride it more before I croak. It has 535 miles on it...

No 1000, the 650 was my shooting partners bike. He's got a Triumph that's pretty nice. We took a several hundred mile ride in the mountains both 2 up. BTW: The dealers here are ZERO help on the cable and hose lengths. It would mean they'd have to do some work.

Shell Rotella T SAE 15W-40. Stealer here told me Yamaha was only making 20W-50 now. ??????

I use Rotella T in both VMax's. Actually it's extremely good oil for bikes... I'll use it in my FZ if I ever get it broken in....:depressed:

Actually I was off a couple dollars for the first offense..:eek: And, it's front or rear wheel off the ground.... Just had a friend get his license back after 3 tickets. He sold his Gen II Vmax to pay the fines and quit riding.... Shame, Jay Gleason set a record with his bike at the drag strip...

Here it's progressive fines from $1188.00 and finally the 3rd time, $5,000 and loss of License for a year. I try to put a lot of weight on the front ends or lower them an inch......

I bought my FZ8 after not being able to get the new Vmax down under $20,000 out the door. Actually $20,238. I took a test ride on the new Vmax and got to romp it pretty good. Felt like I was on a Clydesdale Horse. The next day I took the FZ out and had a spot where I got it over 100 in short...

Whoever made the video should be shot for treating an FZ like that.....
