Did you check the header flanges? My buddy had a some header bolts come loose and the flange slid down the pipe and made a similar noise. I would check for loose bolts before taking it to the stealership.

I also use chain wax by maxima. After you clean the chain ride the bike a few mins and warm the chain, apply and let set for atleast 15 mins. It is resistant to water an dirt and doesn't fling off. I clean and lube every 500 miles.

Are they the 6 or 8mm? Gonna be ordering some soon. Whoops. Just went and read page 1. 6mm it is, woulda been fitting to our bike if it were the 8.

I am also interested in the R77D. The carbon/carbon is really nice. Do you have to do anything else to the bike if you get a slip-on? I'm new to modding bikes, and would like to factor in the cost if I do pull the trigger on getting a can.

Real grippy feels kinda like the rubber stuff on the cuffs on snowboard pants to keep them on the boot. You literally have to get up off the seat a little to adjust.

My guess is they recycled it from earlier years with the gloss paint job.

Congratulations! I'm super jealous of the white paint, they only offered the 8 in matte gray/matte black where I am at. Hopefully in a year or so I will be able to get a paint job.
