New Helmet Rant!

Quiet is a relative term. The bigger the helmet the less quiet. Most of the testing is done with medium and large helmet sizes.

My Shoei X11 was the quietest I have had followed by Arai Corsair. Thought the X12 would be as quiet, it wasn't. The amount of airflow usually is a good indicator as well, less flow, quieter.

Couldn't agree more with you. I use their site for everything. Great reading when work is a little slow.
I also wear ear plugs if I know I'm going to be on the bike for more than a 15 minute ride or more, especially interstate travel. My hearing is bad enough as is, it doesn't need any help from wind noise on my bike. I went on overstock.com and found a huge box for something like $30. Course we have all the ear plugs I could ever need here at work too......
