you have the fabric rear shock absorber?
i changed it for the reason you discovered ...
if you are in the middle of a turn and hit a hole or a hill on the street, the absorber never absorb! it make the bike jump on the side of the turn....
again, REALLY GLAD TO HEAR YOU ARE OK ...

I think he means stock rear shock.
