Thanks for the pics. I was thinking of buying the carbon fibre as unsure how the black would look, but it looks sweet expecially seeing it on a FZ8S! Mines blue but still would look good. I'm happy to upgrade later if need be, but just want a bit of safety noise for now!

I only seem to have that problem with leaving the lights on within the first couple of weeks of owning the bike. Wouldn't like to disable it as it does come in handy when parking it quickly whilst opening garage and shuffling cars.

It's not there for performance! It's not a bike :rolleyes: The US equilivant are what we call big vans like the Chev/Ford vans or like "The Mystery Machine" from Scooby Doo!

Really, MCA say a slip on pipe starts from $600! So wanted to make sure it was going to improve it the noise and not just waste the money. Might just do what you suggest buy it and try it out. Do you have the link for where to buy it from?

Nah turn around at Lithgow and do it all again! I've driven it heaps but only riden it once on my XJ600 which didnt have the torque to keep up to my mates on ZX7 with all the hills! Now I have the torque im keen to do it! But was better before they dropped a lot of the 100km zones to 80kms.

Yeah I grabbed them while I could, especially since I couldn't get my initials and year(should have got them 10yrs ago!) Nice bike, like the additional lower cowlings! I've only seen 1 other FZ8S (black) in Sydney, a small few nakeds get around.

Are they that rare?! I love the look and think the Blue looks awesome. Plus my matching blue FZ85 plates really suit - looks better without that daggy rego sticker!

Just had a look and looks very impressive, just never heard of them before. But yeah $529+$75 for leathers is a bit out my reach at the moment, think I'll stick to a going on a few rides first on the Old Road/Bells Line Appreciate all the comment guys!

yeah i agree will have to try one, just want to get a bit more confidence on the road.

I had read in a different forum that it can still drain the battery if not used for 3 weeks or so and they recommended a relay - which really makes more sense.

Yeah but a track day is beyond me yet, plus don't have full leathers. Just want to be a better safer rider on the road.
