Im kinda paranoid I guess....but I feel it would be a wise investment in a locking oil cap or something similar to a tamper proof torx cap... something that would implement severe difficulty for anyone trying to sabotage my bike. Thanks ahead of time. ;)

I sliced a pigeon in half today with my stock mirror... covered in bird guts and shit. I was not happy. On the bright side, I now have even more reason to take the damn things off. I was going about 80mph and the bastard did not hear me? So Ill find a way to justify my PCV and pipe too :D...

What temperature does your 8 run at? Outside temp: 80F Coolant: Same from factory Oil: 15W50 Full Synthetic Shes never gone above 185, she only got that warm when i was cruisin steadily at about 9Krpm. While cruisin 6k (70mph ish) she stayed about 177F. Just curious to see how mine compares...

Does anyone elses bike leak fuel from the vent hose when sitting in the sun? I understand a little bit is not uncommon but my bike steadily leaves about a quarter sized wet spot on the ground... tried collecting it in a ratio right but you guessed it, it evaporated before I could take note...

I will be gearing down the fz here shortly, and I'm a little unsure about pullin wheelies. A lot of wet sump style lubrication systems are prone to starving the crank bearings of oil when the front wheel is up. Has anyone had this problem? Heard of it with the FZ8's? :scratch:
