ditto 150. i dropped the back to 43 for two reasons. 1 - with the stock gears, the mph was off by +5. now it's correct. 2 - now i don't have to custom cut 121 links for the damn chain.

i did the 2 bros slip on, k&n filter, and smog block off install. i didn't do the airbox mod as i thought this would induce the exhaust pop due to too much air flow. the bike runs great with a solid linear pull. no power commander yet, but it's in the future. i haven't tested the top end...

i guess i'm in the minority on this one. i'm looking for more top end. i've ordered a 43 rs. right now my top speed is 140mph, and i'm looking to hit at least 150 with the new sprocket, exhaust and exhaust mods. we'll find out in november!

i'm a believer in fresh new filters each time. can you ensure that each time you clean out your "reusable filter" that you're truly getting it clean? i spend the 8 bucks a filter and a dollar for the new crush washer and call it a day. 20-50W of your choice and done.

Right out of the box the rear shock is usually set at 5, which I suspect is good for a casual rider with their weight around 160lbs. Me being a more aggressive rider and pushing 220lbs, I found the setting at 8 is just about perfect. It takes away the mushiness of course from the rear, but...

thanks guys thanks, i'll definitely use the hell out of it. i have a 104 mile ride 5 days a week and get to take a mountain hwy for about 60 of those miles. :bs2:
