Whats the proper foot placement while turning?

this should be the first post in the HOW TO threads or the rookie threads I think. Good find, Mano. (admin can we get it moved?)

good reads. i've always been forced to slide my feet back (so my toes are on the pegs) as i have a size 13 foot/shoe and on my buell firebolt i caught a toe in the pavement on a good right hander and almost kissed me and the bike goodbye.

i create a 45 degree angle between the peg and bike with the flat of my foot (near the toes) when riding aggressively. keeps me from hitting the rear brake when i get nervous as i know that's the last thing i want to do anyway.

Mine is now at 45 degrees also, much firmer than my pervious freestyle stance. Size 13's, thats some big ol' boots right there!
