What Oil you using

getting ready to do the my first oil change, anyone else using Rotella T6,, been using the Dino T5 on my vtwins( sv's tl's ) for years with no issues. what is everyone else using

I use Yamalube 10W-50 Semi-Synthetic; cover's me year round. I work at a Yamaha dealer and get it cheap too!

I'll be running rotella in my 8 one it's ready for a change this spring and summer.

I'm going to run the dino rotella for the first change and then at aorund 1,500-2,000 miles I'm going to change it again to the T6 synthetic. That's what I ran in mine and my wife's cbr's and it always worked good and it's a very well liked oil for bikes. It's also JASO approved.

Has anyone tried the Castrol Power RS 10w-40 4-stroke motorcycle oil in their FZ8's? If yes, please let us know how it performed.

I use Amsoil 10w40 Full Synthetic, Really smoothed out the shifting on mine.
Although I did use Mobil 1 4t on my old fz6 and no complaints.

What ever the stealership puts in it. The techs there seem to know what the hell they're doing. I defer to them (specifically my tech) for bike wisdom.
