Adam and co were very cool in the day. However, John Peel was, is and always will be my absolute hero.


He did more for music than any other dj, producer or record exec ever.

Rest in peace John, you were The Margrave of the Marshes and you are missed every day..

I am suprised how much people know of John Peel over the otherside of the pond and in fact around the globe, for most of us in the UK we grew up listening to John Peel, he was never a huge name but was hugely respected by those who were into music.

I'm a Brit mate. Been here since 91. Grew up listening to John every night on my radio under the pillow so my mum wouldn't hear!
I still have several c90's of his shows.
