I know the speedo is not completely accurate, but I've gotten it to read 161 straight flat open highway.

Speedo healer would be a nice touch too to figure out TRUE top speed!

it will give you true speed of the rear tire

but I used to land speed race, and when you do you realize that there is a lot of slippage of the rear tire.

at 2 MPH, it can be said that on a regular road surface the tire is doing the same speed as the vehicle, but as you go faster the amount of shear increases and soon the tire is going faster than the vehicle, and that goes up in a square, not linearly. In other words the as speed increases the amount it slips increases faster than the amount of distance traveled

plus, go out to the road with a broom, now start from the center and sweep to the curb. all of the dirt you get are just little balls between the road surface and your tires

which is computerized set up from a point a to point b

252 km looks like something I'm not really interested in doing down a highway! I prefer to watch guys in Germany do it from my couch!
