Not the prettiest sliders on the market but they work (in a drop situation). Fortunately I don't know how well they work in a low side! I was parking today at the barber shop and dropped my ride The parking lot is a crumbling asphalt lot with holes and lots of loose gravel. It's so freaking nasty hot down here that I decided to wear a pair of old bald sneakers instead of my boots. I was in a tight very slow right turn, a car coming into another entrance caught my attention, front tire dropped into a hole and started to slip, put my foot down on loose gravel and down we went Thanks to the slider the damage was minimal. Scratched up slider, scraped some paint off the rear brake lever, scraped paint on underside of foot peg and scratches on the exhaust heat shield.
