Suspension Setting

Right out of the box the rear shock is usually set at 5, which I suspect is good for a casual rider with their weight around 160lbs.

Me being a more aggressive rider and pushing 220lbs, I found the setting at 8 is just about perfect. It takes away the mushiness of course from the rear, but also stabilizes the the front.

There are a couple of good bumps on this canyon road I ride that used to bottom out the suspension with the setting at 5, and with just a few clicks with the wrench, the bike handles so much better now.

Next years model should definitely come with adjustable forks as this would make this bike so much more enjoyable to ride through the twisties.

Im about 175. so i clicked mine over to 7. I know because I looked at the manual and clicked twice in the right direction. But my problem is that i cannot see the numbers on my bike indicatingn which suspension setting I am on.
