I've been keeping up here and there about Sandy and was seeing some pretty gnarly pics of NYC. I hope everyone is doing ok over on the East Coast. Anyone have any good stories?

Had a little adventure myself this Saturday when the series of earthquakes off Canada triggered a Tsunami alert here on Island. The Tsunami was negligible, but as always, it turns the Island upside w/ people going into grocery stores stocking up on supplies, Gas statins being packed, horrific traffic, etc...

Hmmm... wonder if this is outlined in the Mayan calendar, December is approaching.

Sandy was kind of a nonevent in DC. We got lucky

To give you some idea of the size of this storm, I am in Central Wisconsin and we had 40 mph winds from Sandy yesterday.

I was 10miles from landfall but if you weren't near the ocean or a major river nothing really happened, but here is a video of then damage here in jersey, all pictures have been confirmed real... I'm gonna say now ballot of this is hard to believe

Omg. Wow thats devastating. I feel sorry for all the kids that are now homeless
