I recently bought a 2011 Yamaha FZ8 with 32K miles. It's got a power commander, vance&hines slip on, and a few other tasteful mods.
So the story is - when I bought it from the original owner, he included bike stands and was showing me how to use them. He ended up dropping the bike on it's side (I was able to get a much better deal now haha). Anyhow, now the bike has a minor rough idle. RPMs spiking from 900-1000 when it's warmed up. It doesn't have this issue during a cold start. I spoke with the previous owner and he says its been sitting for months and could be old gas. I ran a few tanks thru it and it's still happening. I researched some more and it found it could have been caused from when it was a dropped. The injectors might of got oil in them and the level is now uneven - not sure how accurate this finding is.
