SHAD sport rack and cases

I have the Shad mount. I absolutely love it and use it all of the time. I use my bike to run errands (library, grocery store, hobby shop, what-not) and the case is great to throw items into. The case I have is the smallest Shad makes but it will hold a full face helmet.

Dont have pictures with me right now but I made a custom bracket with about 15 bucks worth of metal and a seahorse case (pelican knockoff) Currently riding across America with it and its great, let me see if I have a picture or a video of the top rack ive got. Shads awesome too.

Can't exactly tell from pic but did you just mount the case with straps or is it actually hard mounted on there? Cause I am looking for a hard waterproof case for my CRF250l which already has a rear rack on it. This would be perfect if I can hard mount it on there.

It just clips right into the sport rack
They mount to a rack but they have small holes that allowed me to weld up that top case.

Ya, its nice with the sport mounting system, but mine seems to have some gap that causes it to rock back and forth, I had to use the passenger seat L bracket to secure the system instead of the one it comes with, wouldn't lock down otherwise sadly.

I just got mine with the SH40 case. Looks good, but I had the same latch issue as you and there's quite a gap even though it's locked down and clicked into place
