went for a ride a couple of weekends ago... down some back roads around here. pulled into an old school gas station. Not quite old enough to have mechanical pumps, but pretty old. Saw the "pay inside" sign. Walked in, paid the lady $10 and told her i'll come back and get my change. went back to the bike... used up the 10 bucks and didn't fill up yet. LOL. Lady probably got a good chuckle out of that. I guess the old pump reminded me of a time when you could fill up a tank on $10.

I used to be a gas jockey as a teenager. I remember gas was $0.259/litre and customers used to bitch at me about it. If I knew then what I know now, I would have said " If you don't like the price of gas now, just wait about 30-35 years".
