Removing front wheel

Trying to remove front wheel, I took out pinch bolt and tapped axle but it won't slide out. Did I miss something?

u used the huge allen (17mm i think) and unscrewed the front axle after you undid the pinch bolt?

14 millimeter Allen wrench! I didn't know it was threaded. I thought it just slid out, went and bought a few large Allen wrenches and it was 14 millimeter and it unscrewed, and I had to remove brake calipers but that was easy.

I think next time I do this I'll fit a centre stand. Must be a lot easier than fiddling about with paddock stands. I should have done this from day 1.
