Definitely, I think you'll find because the community is all filled with quality guys, the flamers and haters are at a very minimum. Much better culture than other forums.
The thing is though...there's a certain amount of self-education that needs to happen no matter what. So put in your due diligence by searching, googling, and familiarizing yourself with concepts... and if you get stuck, people can help you.
The other thing is, if you put in your due diligence, you go from being a consumer of information to a leader/producer of information. It's a great feeling to be able to contribute!
