I am having trouble with my stator/rectifier system at the moment - I am getting around the dreaded flywheel rotor damage but run into an issue.
I have removed the old stator from the engine but when I tried to install a new one, I discovered that the stator cable is too short - by half! - picture link here
The reason my old cable is so long is that it was lengthened to another cable by a mechanic so that it could reach after a new engine was installed.
Can as many people as possible find and take pictures of where their stator to rectifier cable goes to or connect? because for the life of me I cannot find any indication of how long the cable should be, nor can I find any different versions (as in different cable lengths).
