I live in metro Phoenix - and have only seen one other FZ8 (of course I was in the car at the time!)

Same here. Visited a friend at Ride Now Chandler, he said they have sold a ton of them. A friend at work wants to get a used one, but only found one in CA on cycle trader and only two on CL in Michigan and Tenn. I am out in San Tan Valley (still considered metro, go figure).
