My motorcycle history to date,
Yamaha rd50 m - slow slow slow!
Yamaha rd125 lc - one of the best times of my life
Kawasaki zzr 600 - expensive mistake
Kawasaki zx6 j2 - ok.
Ducati 748 - now we are getting somewhere!
Suzuki gsxr 750 k2 - fat but fast.
Suzuki gsxr 750 k5 - thinner and faster!
Yamaha r1 5pw - broken pelvis, 12 weeks off work
Suzuki gsxr 750 k5 - liked the last one
Kawasaki zx10 05 - holy Christ
Suzuki bandit 650 - getting older!
Yamaha fazer 8 - maybe not so old

Honda Hornet 600 - written off. Cut up by a people carrier. Ended up in a wall. Great bike up to that point.

Honda CBR600F - commuter - traded in before it died.

Yamaha FZ1 - Fu*king mental - ate petrol and wanted me dead.

Fazer 8 - 2 years - 15,000 miles quick and good fun.

Loved them all for what they were, but I kissed a few frogs…

• Tomos Streetmate 50 – put about 1000 miles
• Suzuki GZ250 - put about 1000 miles
• Kawasaki Ninja 500R (2nd Gen) – put about 3000 miles
• Suzuki SV650 (2nd Gen) – put about 10,000 miles
• Yamaha FZ8 – put 5000 and counting…

Honda 80cc 2stroke - (rode not owned) Thought, yeah.... 2 strokes are fun
Honda 250cc 2stroke - (rode not owned) crashed, but walked/limped away
First time riding on the street ever, I got my license and bought a
2007 Honda CBR600rr (with a -1+2) I had nothing to compare it to, so it was absolutly mental.....
1981 Yamaha xj550 - got it as a bobber project, only rode it once....
2006 Yamaha Vmax- To get it..... you'd have to ride it.....(still own it)
2013 Yamaha FZ8 (first new bike) - had some initial disappointment, but after reminding myself that i got it because it WASN'T a full up sports bike, I'm really content with it now.

With you on the fz8, seem to only be getting 125 miles to the tank, think I need to stop trying to ride it like a sports bike, feels a little closer though with my nitron shock which for me is by far the best money spent yet, massive difference in the ride.
