just rolled in from 1200 miles. 600 each day. Soo Ontario to Minnesota. Bike ran great as always, 50 + miles / gal doing 70-90 mph. Hit some heavy rain. What do you wear for raingear?

1200 miles in two days, nice. I'm jelly of that 50+ mpg. Bah!

I wear this Alpinestars jacket year round. Stops cold air brilliantly and the rain just as well.

For pants? Some cheap Columbia ski pants from TJ Maxx for $25 that I Nik Waxed, but finding them too hot for summer usage.

24 cans of moosehead, $17 cdn @ the usa duty free store! thanks for the tips on raingear , checking it out.
70-75 mph here to Minneapolis $67 in gas . can go 130 miles ,empty didn't flash yet. confident of 150 + miles on a tank. roads relatively flat

Did about 220KM when the gauge started to flash and F Trip came on. That was mostly highway miles.

Rain gear - army surplus rain suit. Oversized up go over riding pants & jacket. Put the hood up before puttin on helmet. You'll be dry, but theres no breathability nor ventilation. After 45 min will feel like you're wearing trash bags (because you essentially are....). Is your 50 mpg in US Gal or imperial? I can get 50 imperial but maybe 43-44 US Gal.
