Don't tempt me! I just cleared out my garage (3 bikes) so I could get the FZ8 and only have one bike to take care of. My secret dream is to have a garage like Jay Leno filled with every bike made along with my own full time mechanic, but until I make a few million it will just remain a fantasy.

I've got a thing for the Honda Blackbird...a mate of mine is moving within a stones throw of the Oxley Hwy in Feb next year and this would be perfect for the 3-4 hour ride up there and a week of riding up an down the Oxley.

I'm not into Harley's much but out of all of them I kinda like the '48' is that part of the sportster range? That blackbird would be pretty cool also.

Can't take my eyes off this thing though...

Would be riding a Ducati Hypermotard 1100s right now instead of the FZ8 if it didn't have the 7500 maintenance interval. There's no arguement that the DUC is sexier than the FZ8.

I have always wanted one. Then I met up with a couple of local guys here who have them. They love the way the bike rides but both complained about the running costs, both oem stuff and aftermarket parts. Also, they both claim them to be quite uncomfortable on longer runs.

I was given the chance to demo a used S3 from a dealer before I bought the FZ8 and was unimpressed with the S3 on a lot of fronts. Power wasn't much different, dash was awful, and the seat was ugh. FZ was much cheaper too.

, but only in that colour!

If I had to get rid of the 8 I would trade it for a FZ1, simple :)

It's a lightly modified Harley Sportster 48. Fat tires and aftermarket exhaust. And some paint. A lot of us have been building Sporties and big twins like that for a long, long time. Willie the Thief finally noticed and decided to steal the style like he's been doing his whole career. Not that I have any particular feelings about that or anything.:p
