I did a UN tour in Croatia in 1995, nice country, to bad they had to blow the crap out of it and lay land mines all over the place, at least it wasn't has bad as Bosnia. I understand that most of the damage has been repaired. Our base camp was in Sibenik and had a R&R in Dubrovnik.
