First let me say that I am not a vendor, I am not a retrofitting business. I have been retrofitting my own vehicles and friends/familys since 2004. I have done roughly 50 cars and 5 bikes (much easier).

I have had some people ask me about retro's since rabbit has closed up shop.

Here are what prices look like, please feel free to check on your own, I am not getting any better pricing than you and I dont make any substantial money off it, its just some side money for my bike mods.

I source 100% of my parts from TheRetrofitSource because I've known the owner a very long time, and love the quality/warranty of his stuff. If you want to source your own parts for cheaper, go for it.

Price List:

Projectors: Either Mini H1 or Mini D2S 3.0. I recommend the Mini H1 since they are wider and have a better highbeam. 60$
Ballasts: Either Morimoto xb35 watt or xb55 watt. I recommend 35watt for longevity of the bulbs. 55$
Bulbs: XB35 D2S or H1 Bulbs, 3000k, 4500k, 5500k, or 6000k. I recommend 5500k. 20$
Shrouds: Pick a shroud from their website, I recommend the E46 extended or the Iris shroud, almost* any will fit. 20$
Wire Harness: H4 Motorcycle Bixenon Harness. 30$

If you want angel eyes, they only offer the RGBs now which I highly recommend, they can change to any color with an included wireless remote. 80$

So Parts= 175$ w/out angel eyes, or 255$ wish angel eyes.

Labor is a flat rate of 100$, Painting is included.

Return shipping is on you. It normally isnt more than 25$ USPS priority

So 275$-355$ depending on what you are looking for.

If anyone has questions please post them in here for me to respond. Even if you want to do your own retrofit, I can help with anything.

turn around time is 3 days from when i receive all the parts and headlights. RGBs are just as easy as regular halos, havent had a single issue.

I am really interested to know if you have pictures of any other headlights you've done. I'm in the fact collecting stage and BKmoto seams to be the cheapest but I do all the work and stuff is missing in there package. I've also seen the Scotidi headlight and although it's the sexiest it's also close to 500 bucks..

I have tons of pictures of my past cars and bikes I have done, search HeresMyMind on the Hidplanet.com forums, it is a headlight retrofitting only forum

I spent a week waiting on an email to activate my new account on that forum, even sent an administrator a pm to get my account active. Lol, almost 2 weeks and I still can't view over half the pictures on that site due to permissions.
Either way, I'm an exhaust away from pulling the trigger on this mod. Still not sure if I'm going to do it myself or pass the buck to someone like you

No problem!!! I have no problem helping/trouble shooting for people to help. I'm not a business, I just do it on the side to afford bike goodies!

For myself and others that might do some mods but are hesitant to get involved with a headlight that works fine....what exactly do we need to do to remove the light to send it to you and once it's done, what exactly do we need to do to put it back together and make it work? What is really the purpose of the angel eyes, I get that they look cool especially on an R6/R1 but are they just for looking at or is it legal to ride around with them on?

So the angel eye is just for looks as a running light, white/yellow/amber are the only legal colors here in Connecticut, you can wire yours to a separate switch or to your stock running lights to always be on. Look up your own state laws regarding led lighting, i know PA allows blue and green. CT has to be yellow/white/amber in the front, and amber or red on the side or rear of the bike.

I need you to send me the raw headlight stripped down. I will do the rest. it takes about 10 minutes with some allen keys to remove it.

once you get the light back you will be given a plug and play wire harness for the bike, all you will have to do is mount the hid ballast somewhere (either zip tied to the inside of the fork tube on top, or under near the horn, or under the gas tank plastic cover) and everything else will just be bolting it back on.
