Header install?

is this right??? I can't remember when I took the header off if those plates were flush against the head or not, torqued to 14 lbs like your suppose to but doesn't look right

Left it like it was, 14 foot lbs is right, I just couldn't remember if the flanges looked like that when I took it off! Should have taken pics before taking it off

Ok so it is supposed to sit with a gap like that. I just painted my headers too and i couldve sworn it went in until it was flush, but i am at the same point where i didnt take any pictures so therefore idk for certain. Has anybody on here not touched their headers and is willing to take a stock pic for us lol
