hand grips

I was riding the other day, and I was thinking of going with a larger hand grip. Has anyone tried this yet?

Not wider, but thicker.......opinions?

Yeah I went with a slightly softer compound which also has a thicker area where your fingers wrap around. The standard FZ8 grips are horible, far to hard.

depending on how thick you can find they could interfere with the travel of your levers. if you've got adjustable levers it won't be an issue, but finding a lot thicker grip will be.

they seem to run rather 'standard'. i found a set that i love all gel and a little thicker than stock.
