Givi Engine Guards

Got them from motorcycle-superstore ($152). Installed this afternoon.
Easy install, most difficult thing was that the left side guard mounts using the two bolt-holes which hold on the kickstand, so it's necessary to lean the bike against something on the right in order to remove/replace those bolts.

Everything went together fine, except the bolt which connects the two sides of the cage together. The bolt provided was about 1/2" too short (and the "spacer" was also short, so if I'd installed it, it would have just slid back and forth along the bolt, making noise and serving no purpose). Ended up buying a new bolt which was longer from a local hardware store, and it seems to work fine.

The construction seems to be very sturdy (thick-walled steel, good looking welds). Will have to crash at some point in the future for further testing.

wo. very steel. much protect.

Mounts to 2 engine bolts, 2 kickstand bolts, and the two bolt holes which secure some overflow hoses. All new bolts are provided, along with washers/spacers.
