Fixing Tank Dents

Has anyone dented their tank and been able to fix it? I have been told you can use air pressure to pop dents out, or use a suction kit. The problem is the dent is on one of the styling angles that run the length of the tank. It's about a quarter or so in size if I remember correctly.

When I dented mine, I asked all my friends who have been wrenching for years... new tank or live with it is ehat they told me. Metal is too thin to work with. So, I've just left it as a reminder that oil spots and bikes don't mix (high sided going about ten mph when my rear slid out from under me)

You could always try the old fashion way. Remove the lock from the cap, insert a spark plug and then run a longer wire from the coil up to the plug. Then just start the bike. That should pop out any dent! LOL
