I did the swap to fz1 inner adjustable cartridges 4 months ago, did a serious improvement! even more than that!
last week I finally got my stage 5 elka rear shock, its the second one ever manufactured in the world for the fz8 eheheh
it have the new smaller body technology in it, and have all the adjustments, rebound, compression low and high speeds wanted to have hydraulic preload adjustment but it is not yet developed for the smaller 36 mm shock body
and after the rear swap , wow I can now call this bike a better than ever fazer 800 !
notice that the technician at elka installed and did adjust all the suspensions front and rear !
