Easy performance mods

I have a 2 brothers slip on on my 2011 fz8. I want to do some other easy performance mods like air filter or a remap. Does the remap cause reliability issues? Any input is appreciated!

Honestly I do not know about remapping but I have done the R6 throttle swap recently and it was the best $20 I have spent on the motorcycle so far....besides my MiVV Double Gunn Exhaust. If i were you, the throttle swap would be the next mod I do.

Throttle swap is good, i did the poor mans version and did a PVC throttle mod. DIY quick throttle mod with pics - Yamaha R6 Forum: YZF-R6 Forums only took about 20 minutes.
Also just did a -1+2 520 conversion and its awesome. Lost some top end but off the line its fantastic.

What is the re throttle swap?

The throttle tube on the handlebar. The R6 tube has a different ramp ratio that opens the throttle more quickly for a given input angle. I think it also reduces the total angle required to get to WOT.

you need a specific number part from yamaha 2c0-26240-00-00
these goes on a R6 (not the S version)
