I really like these, but I am afraid that they would not work for our FZ8s. Does anyone know if these mirrors would work for our bikes or not?

Ok, so I finally found the details on the screw used in these mirrors. What size is the bar-end weight screws? These use 8mm. Would that work? If not, does anyone know how to remove the stock inserts? I have a 2013 version. Any help would be appreciated.
