decibel range

ok I'm getting frustrated. I'm going through the exhaust comparison thread and checking out the links and finding some helpful information, but I'm getting stuck on decibel ranges and legal limits and most importantly... WHERE CAN I FIND THE STOCK MUFFLER DECIBEL RANGE?

Anyone?

Stock mufler db is located on the frame on right hand side just by steering bars. It gives u db level at I think 6500 rpm

I haven't heard the Akrapovic, but wouldn't the frequencies be quite different? As in, the stocker is just a louder sewing machine?

That I know of, no slip-on is 100% street legal. Either doesn't meet sound and/or pollution regulations. All I know is if the stock is 91DB, my Yoshi no baffle must be around 95DB...
