your talking the inspection plug? The one with the screw driver slot? Nice and snug should be about the correct torque. LOL

If by crank you are referring to the crankshaft, there is no actual crankshaft plug on the left side.

There is a plate that covers the left end of the crankshaft held on by three screws. Torque these at 7.2 ft lb (10 Nm).

There are two aluminum plugs on the left side of the motor. One is an oil galley just below the crankshaft the other is in the middle of the alternator cover. Torque these at 5.8 ft lb (8 Nm).
