Commuting - Wind Control in the plains...

I hope I'm not jinxing it... but I LOVE the aerodynamics. I drive about 25 miles to work if I take my bike (I avoid a highway that has a speed of 10-25mph so I can cruise at 70-85mph)... its about 6 miles out of the way, but SOOO worth it if you like to move quickly like me. anyways, I just sold my 02 Shadow Spirit for my FZ8, and what a difference in wind control, even if its just the face of the headlight and that dinky little console cover! those cross breezes, those face blasts, all that buffeting I felt on my cruiser I don't feel anymore at all. Ok, maybe I feel it a little bit, but its not as bad as I had it with my cruiser. LOVE this bike.

day 2 and I felt the crazy cross breezes and turbulence from the 18 wheelers on the bike. but I wanted an agile bike, not a tank, so I expected some movement there. I'm still liking the cockpit air control though. definitely not a beating behind there.
