Breaking in my ass

Well I just put on 1500 km on my Fazer, love the bike and the seat almost has my ass broke in. Its an awesome bike, just what I wanted but the seat takes a bit of getting used to. I know there some gel inserts or a new seat. Is the gel insert the way to go it or should I go with a new seat? I don't want to spend a whole bunch of money but my ass needs a break.

That FZ seat is heaven compared to the 18,000 miles I put on my SuperMoto seat. I do want the shad seat though for my wife.
