sawed through the tab....and grinded down to what I'm comfortable with haha. Didn''t want to mess up the exhaust. Maybe I'll do more later but I'm satisfied with it now. The tab is no more!

id be grinding those welds off aswell. you've gone that far, may as well. if you do it with a dremel you should be pretty right. than the grind marks you can hit with some probably 4-600 grit paper to blend it through with the rest of the pipe.
either way. looks awesome!
