ABS Port Location

Hi

My ABS light keeps coming on and I need to read the code from the ABS ECU. Having read the service manual it states that the port i need to jump out is located under the rear seat. However I’ve looked under both seats and around the area but I can’t find anything that looks like it’s ready and waiting for the port coupler to be attached.

Can anyone help me with a description of it and where exactly I can find it?

On my non-ABS FZ8, the finned aluminum ignition module is under the seat..above the rear tire by the rear Shock.
On ABS models, they move the finned aluminum ignition module to the lower side by the exhaust/footpeg area. Reason is they use the under seat area for the ABS Module. So that's where it should be.
I can't say how hard or easy to access the plugs. Hope this helps some.


Also a FZ1 should be similar
