2013 Map

Does anyone know if Yamaha dealers will reflash with new model maps like Honda dealers will?

Mainly because reading the 2013 FZ8 has a revamped map with "more midrange power" (which I assume means they fixed the power loss on the 11 and 12)

I've asked my local dealer but they are a many manufacturer dealer and didn't even know the 2013 was revamped.

That would be cool, Im due for my 4,000 mile service and need some new shoes put on. would be cool to pick up a little more grunt as well.

That's what I'm thinking. If the components are the same there should be no reason that yamaha wouldn't charge for it.

Honda charges between 25 and 80 dollars for uprgraded fuel injection maps.
