I was backing my bike into the cubby hole where it was stored at my parents. As I was backing in the right peg caught a sheet of plywood sticking out and was bent slightly forward. I rode like this last season but just pulled the peg off yesterday with hopes of fixing the problem. I want to order aftermarket foot pegs and go that route to fixing it but i can't tell if the mounting bracket (where the peg is riveted to the bracket) is bent. Has anyone had this problem? I would buy just the mounting bracket but it looks like it only comes as a package. Also do the aftermarket pegs come with a bolt to attack to bracket? I found something that appeared to be the bolt(8mm) that I think could be used on eBay. It's not a rivet though which is okay with me. Any input would be great! I'm new to the forum, my first fz8 forum account. Excited!
