+1 FZ in Oz

Hi everyone,

I'm Andy in Melbourne, Australia.
I'll be picking up a "13 FZ8s on Saturday and I can't wait.
It's good riding weather here right now and I'm missing out.

I'm also looking forward to digging into the Forum for info,
and to being a member of the FZ8 community.

Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the forum. The FZ8 is a great bike that has a lot of potential and can be vastly modified. Hope you enjoy many great adventures with her.

Thanks for the welcome guys,
To start with I'll just fit some comfort mods like a flip up screen, heated grips (yes, I'm old) and a Bagster tank cover,
and I'll be bracing the fairing as i noticed it flutters in the wind a bit.

Then I'm gonna ride it in it's current standard form till winter next year comes.
By then I'll know what mods I want, but I'm guessing just some suspension tweaks will do me.

I think the bike has plenty enough power to get this clown in trouble,
so I'm going to invest in a refresher advanced riding course.

I'm saving to go back to the US for another Road trip holiday so don't want to spend too much on toys.

As for photos, will post some after I get the bike this Saturday.
