i did the 2 bros slip on, k&n filter, and smog block off install. i didn't do the airbox mod as i thought this would induce the exhaust pop due to too much air flow. the bike runs great with a solid linear pull. no power commander yet, but it's in the future. i haven't tested the top end...

Right out of the box the rear shock is usually set at 5, which I suspect is good for a casual rider with their weight around 160lbs. Me being a more aggressive rider and pushing 220lbs, I found the setting at 8 is just about perfect. It takes away the mushiness of course from the rear, but...

Anybody around the area? I'm commuting with the FZ8 back and forth from the IE and OC and haven't seen any other FZ8 yet. Dealer told me that they've only sold two others, so just asking to see if they're around. Having a blast on mine!

hoping to either have my delivered or picked up this week. having owned mostly rice rockets and a few enduros, i've had to break down and get a more sport touring bike. since this is the fz8's first year here in the states there haven't been a whole lot of feed back on it. i'll look forward...
