I've been using Rotella T6 since the first oil change at 1000km.

According to my manual, both upper and lower rear shock bolts are 40 Nm. (29 ft/lbs)

Mine got put into hibernation last weekend. Even though I've got a heated jacket liner and gloves, the roads have been sprayed with brine, and it's just not worth it to me to ride in those conditions. That's it for motorized fun 'til spring... except maybe a bit of snowmobiling.

No, not me. I stay to the east and north of the city. When I was out for a ride on Saturday, I met a couple that were 2-upping on an anniversary edition. I think that's the first one I've come across out on the road. (I've seen a couple parked.)

If you're looking for a quick fix, take a run down to your auto supply store, and see if they have an over-sized oil plug that will work. I had one in an old pickup. It was in it when I got the truck, and it was still there when I sold it. Here's an example of what I'm talking about: Needa...
